> For those who feel the sky's the limit, there's a new dining experience in Canada: Dinner in the Sky. Buckle up and enjoy cocktails, a gourmet meal, a meeting or even an opera˜whatever you desire˜at a table suspended by a crane 50 metres above terra firma.
The brainchild of Belgian entrepreneurs David Ghysels and Stefan Kerhofs,
Dinner in the Sky operates in Europe, South Africa and India, among other places. The Canadian premiere took place July 2 in Toronto. (Altitude Concepts Productions bought the Canadian rights.)
The heavy-duty table seats 22 and has room for five staff in the middle. The chairs swivel 180 degrees so you can get a good look around if you can handle it.
